The 2018 La Jota Cabernet Sauvignon is a sensational wine that is composed from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. This slowly begins to release its wonderful aromas of ripe cherries and boysenberries that come together with cigar box, exotic spices, graphite, dusty rocks, hints of dark chocolate and forest herbs. On the palate this medium to full-bodied Cabernet possesses wonderful concentration, which is supported by polished, yet firm tannins and notable underlying acidity that wraps the long finish. This is a beautifully made wine that has all the characteristics to indicate a long evolution ahead.
