The 2019 'Rive Droite' is a simply magical wine from Blankiet in this vintage and one of the most impressive Merlot wines you will come across. Composed of 98% Merlot and the remaining a dash of Cabernet Franc, this offers incredibally perfumed aromas of blackberries, blueberries and currants, which are laced with crushed gravel, pencil shavings, herbs and hints of tobacco all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is just as impressive, showing a beautifully balanced, full-bodied texture with gorgeous polished tannins resulting in an exceptional mouthfeel. It goes on to display outstanding focus and percision all the way through the long mineral driven finish. This 'Rive Droite' is a simply stunning wine and a wondeful example of Merlot at its finest.
