A terroir-driven blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12.5% Cabernet Franc and 12.5% Petit Verdot that is grown in In the Rocks vineyard and delivers that signature “Rocks” nose and palate that you would typically experience from Syrahs from the area. Starting off a bit reductive and flinty on the nose it quickly blows off to present aromas of blackberry, cassis, anise, cedary herbs and old leather. High acidity, integrated sweet tannin combine with flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder and incense. It’s wonderfully crafted and perfectly balanced. Another yummy Cabernet from Reynvaan from the Rocks District that deserves a spot in your cellar for the next 15 years or more. Highly recommended.
