Syrah fruit from the In The Hills Vineyard at the estate surrounding the winery (along with 6% co-fermented Viognier) delivers black raspberry, cracked black pepper, pencil shavings and dried violet flower aromas emanate from the glass. This wine is completely different from the siblings from The Rocks - it’s more elegant, refined and is wonderfully delicious. Medium plus acidity and medium tannins pair with the blue and black-fruit driven palate that also gives secondary characteristics of smoked meat and dried thyme on the finish. Highly recommended
