MODUS OPERANDI Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2019

The 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet is composed of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon from Edcora Vineyard, Farella Vineyard and Sage Ridge Vineyard with the remains 18% Merlot From Boyd Vineyard. As far as the wine itself, it begins with aromatics of ripe boysenberries, black raspberries and red currants woven together with intense florals, black olive, iron, dried exotic spices and a lovely mineral character. On the palate this full-bodied red shows wonderful concentrated core of beautifully ripe red and dark currants, fresh florals and minerals that are framed by gorgeous velvety tannins which lead up to the long finish.
