The 2017 Crown Prince Cabernet Sauvignon begins with inviting aromas of ripe dark currants, plums and cassis, that come together with cigar box, peppery spices, dark chocolate and earthy mineral nuances. On the palate this possesses a medium-plus to full body that is well-balanced with a wonderful supple mouthfeel that gives way to dark fruits and spices that cascade onto the long finish. This is incredibly expressive and delicious today, however this should continue to drink nicely over the next decade.
