The 2018 'Rosso di Mezzo' is composed of a blend of Alicante, Francisi, Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese. It begins to open it releases pretty aromatics of sweet red berries, floral, mediterranean herbs, and salty minerals, which all slowly take shape. This medium-bodied Rosso is beautifully balanced with remarkable finesse. It remains well defined, structured around fine silky tannins, which make for a gorgeous mouthfeel. While still youthful today, this will require a bit more patience, nonetheless expect this lovely wine to evolve gracefully over the course of the next decade
