The Haze is a new bottling from Carter Cellars, and it is another sensational wine from this 2019 Carter Cellars lineup. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Clones 8.1, 4 and 337 which was sourced from Oakville, just below the eastern hillsides and spent 18 Months in new French oak. It boasts an Impressive dark purple color, followed by loads of blackberries and blueberries, exotic spices, graphite and gravel. Full-bodied, layered and voluptuous, with gorgeous ripe black and blue fruits bursting from its core. It shows incredible balance and concentration all the way through the long supple finish. This is an absolutely sexy bottle of Cabernet that is delicious now and should go on to evolve beautifully for years to come.
