Made from Ansonica 100%, the 2019 'Testamatta' Bianco is sourced from the best vineyard on Isola del Giglio: Serrone. The vineyard is located on the south-east part of the island, facing the sea at an altitude that goes from 60 to 150 meters and contains vines, up to 100 years old. As far as the wine itself, it with gorgeous aromas of fresh lemon, poached pear, wet stones, honeysuckle, nuts, dried herbs and salty nuances all taking shape. This possesses a lovely textural richness, backed by lovely acidity resulting in a beautifully balanced wine from start to finish. This is delightful now, and should continue to impress for at least a few more years.
