The 2019 Steltzner Vineyard stands out as one of the most impressive wines from Myriad Cellars in this vintage. Bursting with bold aromatics of black cherries, creme de cassis and blueberries, which are accented with dark characteristics of moist loam, dark chocolate, warm spices and wild herbs that are just about impossible to resist. On the palate this is full-bodied, layered and remarkably concentrated, with impressive depth. There is a wonderful display of balance as the deep, intense fruit character is supported by plush tannins, which results in a gorgeous supple mouthfeel that persists through the long multi-dimensional finish. This is an amazing bottle of Cabernet and nothing short of utterly delicious at this early stage, however it also has the stuff to cruise in the cellar for decades.
