The 2019 Nickel & Nickel Vaca Vista Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon begins with inviting aromas of ripe dark currants and black cherries woven together with spices, licorice, tobacco and hints of mocha and loam all coming together and soaring from the glass. The palate is medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced as it continues displays layers of ripe dark and red fruits that expand through the finish. The Vaca Vista Cabernet is drinking nicely right out of the gate, but should also evolve with some additional bottle age.
