The 2018 Dust & Glory Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards on Howell Mountain. This Cabernet begins with profound aromas of blueberries and black currants alpong with spices, wild herbs, tobacco, mocha and dried loam, which all come together and burst from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and rich, with big voluptuous tannins that are beautifully integrated. It continues to impress with its excellent concentration and dense core of ripe dark fruits that continue to expand through the plush finish. This is excellent upon release and I would only expect it to become more impressive as it evolves over the decade.
