The 2019 Wild Boar Cabernet Sauvignon from Flora Springs is sourced from exclusively from the Komes Ranch in Rutherford. It instantly opens to inviting aromatics of ripe blackberries and dark cherries which are woven together with spices, cigar box, wild sage and hints of dusty minerals all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is medium to full-bodied and nicely structured with notable concentration leading up to the finish. This is a Cabernet that is certinaly accessible now, and should hold up in the cellar for a decade.
