This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a single block in the vineyard planted to Clone 4 in the organically-farmed Holy Smoke vineyard which sits in the heart of the Oakville appellation. The wine itself opens to inviting aromatics of ripe black currants, cassis, mocha, spices, herbs, tobacco and hints of scorched earth that all emerge from the glass. On the palate this possesses a full body with a gorgeous velvety mouthfeel. It continues to impress with excellent overall structure and depth, as layers of dark fruits, sweet spices and mocha flavors continue to build through the polished finish.
