The 2019 Ribera del Duero Resreva 'La Navilla' offers an expressive aromatic profile of blackberries and dark cherries that are joined by nuances of tobacco, vanilla, spices, scorched earth, herbs, leather and hints of chocolate licorice all bursting from the glass. On the palate this is beautifully structured, concentrated and well-balanced with a wonderful combination of ripe fruit and acidity that leads up to the long finish. This is already shows flashes of its potential, however the best is yet to come, as this should have a drinking window that spans over a decade.
