The 2019 Vine Hill Vineyard Chardonnay is a drop-dead gorgeous showing from Kistler in this vintage. This delivers inviting aromas of ripe apple, white peach, tangerine, white flowers, honeysuckle, chalk, toasted brioche and crushed stones. The palate reveals a gorgeous creamy texture with a wonderful structure, acidity and minerality. There are delicious flavors of peach, candied lemon cream and orchard fruits that all collide on the big finish. Simply put, this is a gorgeous Chardonnay that is beautiful today, but should also offer a drinking window that spans a decade.
