Myraid's first release from the Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard, and it is outstandng. This Cabernet bursts open with expressive aromatics, blackberries, and cassis, which are woven together with notes of roasted coffee, tilled-soil, licorice, herbs and spices. This is full-bodied, remarkably structured with big tannins that envelop the palate. It shows a remarkable combination of big ripe dark fruit and outstanding freshness all the way through the long supple finish that lingers forever. This is a serious wine from a Myriad that should impress for decades.
