The 2020 Almaviva is another magnificent release for this flagship wine of Chile, which celebrates its 25th Anniversary in this vintage. Composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Carmenère, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot this is impecabaly crafted and absolutely stunning. It begins with gorgeous aromatics of blackberries, blueberries, cassis, fresh florals, sweet spices, tobacco, graphite, herbs and charcoal nuances that all take shape beautifully in the glass. This possesses a gorgeous medium-full body with remarkable overall balance and structure. It goes on to impress as it displays wonderful purity and elegance through the beautiful long finish. An incredible effort that should go on to have a tremendous future ahead.
