The 2020 ‘The Haze’ explodes open with big aromas of blueberries, black currants that are accented by sweet spices, graphite and violets all taking shape. On the palate this is full-bodied and concentrated with notable depth and power. Big and voluptuous, this envelops the palate and displays remarkable concentration through the long supple finish. This is a serious wine from Carter and with it should age for well over a decade it will also provide immediate drinking pleasure. This delivers serious bang for the buck.
