The 2020 Sea Smoke 'Ten' Pinot Noir is simply fantastic in this vintage. It begins with seductive aromas of black and red berries that are joined together with fresh lavender, spices, orange zest and a dusty mineral character all coming through beautifully in the glass. On the palate it is beautifully structured, with excellent weight, texture and velvety tannins that frame the beautiful dark berry fruit and savory characteristics that persist through the finish. While this is already showing marvelous today, it also has the makeup to evolve and become even more compelling over the next decade, or longer.
