The 2009 ‘Tenuta Nuova’ is a modern, stylish brunello, standing out for its intense ripe flavors. This opens up with sweet blackberries and dark cherries immediately followed by exotic spices and fresh violets. Full-bodied with a velvety texture that is rich and layered. It shows excellent balance with a lengthy finish that leaves behind a mouthful of sweet dark fruits. This is a ‘Tenuta Nouva’ that can be approached upon release, however it should also age gracefully for at least a decade. (Best 2014-2025) - March, 2014 (JD)
