The 2014 En Chamberlin Vineyard Syrah is another outstanding wine from Cayuse. This begins with a bright bouquet of ripe dark fruits, smoked brisket, green olive tapenade, black tea and black truffle. The minerality and tension here is stunning, as are the deep, penetrating flavors of blackberry cobbler, milk chocolate, Asian spices, barn floor and black olive tapenade which are framed by light tannins. Succulent, and simply delicious, the En Chamberlin Vineyard Syrah is nothing short of a total success in this vintage. (Best 2017-2028) - August, 2017 (OB)
