The 2015 Two Hands 'Bella's Garden' Shiraz begins with inviting aromas of blackberries and dark cherries along with spices, pepper, lavender, bay leaf, forest floor and traces of smoke all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and nicely polished, with notable underlying acidity adding in some freshness as it heads into the finish. Overall, a nice effort from Michael Twelftree, which I expect will begin to show its best after another year or two in bottle.
