This Pinot Noir comes from the Red Dog Vineyard, which is located above the Bennett Valley on the Northwest portion of Sonoma Mountain. It opens to inviting aromas of fresh strawberries, red berries, ripe raspberry, sweet spices, and violet all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied with, nicely polished tannins and lots of ripe and juicy fruits through the long finish. This is appealing now, it should become even more attractive as it gains complexity over the next few years.
