This Chardonnay from Lutum is from the Durell Vineyards which is comprised of gravely clay loam soils. It has aromas of lemon cream, citrus pith, sea foam, buttered almond, flint and crushed rock. On the palate there are layers of citrus and mineral along with hints of stone fruit. This is a wine that needs 3-4 hours of air contact to fully open up, and will benefit from some cellaring. Enjoy over the course of the next 10 years.
