The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer Las Piedras is a sensational effort in this vintage. Winemaker Jean Hoefliger has done a wonderful job showcasing the ripe qualities from the vintage. It instantly begins to grab your attention with its dark, opaque color and profound aromas of ripe dark cherries and currents which are joined by spices, spring florals, pencil shavings, mocha, loam, tobacco and hints of licorice. This boasts a gorgeous full body with remarkable concentration along with a wonderful voluptuous texture and seamless quality which making it nearly impossible to resist. It continues to impress with loads of ripe dark fruits and underlying notes of mocha and spices which continue to resonate through the long multi-layered finish. Simply delicious now and should certainly continue to age beautifully for years to come.
