The 2015 Château Lynch-Bages is a simply gorgeous Pauillac which is composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot along with a percent of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It opens to a wonderful aromatic profile of sweet dark cherries and ripe blackberries which are layered with spring florals, graphite, licorice and a touch of cedar all taking shape. The medium-plus body is layered and beautifully structured around fine, polished tannins which make for a gorgeous texture through the finish. Overall this is a sensational age-worthy Pauillac which will have a long evolution and provide many years of pleasure.
