The 2016 Chardonnay comes from the clay soils of Gap's Crown Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast. This vineyard sits at the top of a wind funnel and benefits from the cool breezes off the Pacific. The wine itself opens to beautiful aromas of lemon curd, green apple, flint, lime and crushed stones. Beautifully focused with a rich texture which is cut by vibrant core of acidity leading up to the delicious finish. This is a well made, beautifully balanced Chardonnay that shows remarkable potential.
