Not needing a decant, this 2015 'Reserva' Malbec by Kaiken shines for its dense fruit flavors and balance. TThe Malbec has a small portion of Cabernet blended in (5%). The wine has an intoxicating bouquet of crushed violets, sage, black cherry, blueberry pie and exotic spices with light white pepper accents. There is lovely depth and texture to this wine. The Malbec has dense flavors of blackberry pie, blueberry compote, milk chocolate and sagebrush. This is a serious value from this estate. (Best 2016-2024) - December, 2016 (OB)
