Andrew Januk is making stunning wines from both the northern and the southern hemisphere. Aged on 100% new French oak for 22 months this blend of 75% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon it shows a dark purple core in the glass and delivers an outstanding bouquet of black plum, marionberry, dried hay, dark melted chocolate and gamey aromas that are interesting and enticing. While the nose is incredibly rich, the palate is a bit more subdued and lean with flavors of black fruit, dried sage and mocha. 400 cases produced.
