This 100% Malbec comes from vines that were planted over 100 years ago and was aged for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels. Dark purple and inky in the glass, it begins with notes of fresh boysenberry, black cherry, potpourri, ground graphite, and just a hint of cedary herbs. Chalky tannins, racy acidity, and flavors of ripe marionberry, mountain sage, and Earl Gray tea complete the wine. 2800 cases were imported into the US. Better in 2023 and then enjoy for 8 years or more.
