The Gower Vineyard was highly sought after land for winemaker Brendon Keys and its easy to see why from this stunning Pinot Noir. Brendon is currently making two wines from the vineyard; Skin ‘N Bones and this ‘Gower’ Single Vineyard Pinot Noir. This elegant expression of Pinot Noir offers aromas of stewed cherries, red currant, dried herbs, spice, fresh mineral, smoked pepper and rose petal which all work together beautifully. It shows wonderful freshness with bright acidity and an abundance of pure red fruits which last through the finish. This is one of the finest examples of Pinot Noir I have tasted out of Australia in recent memory and it already has much to offer. (Best 2014-2024) - August, 2014 - (MD)
