Le Clos is less than 2 acres, which is comprised of east-facing parcels of up to 40-year-old vines, situated on alluvial deposits and consists of deep silt and clay with subsoil streaked with limestone and limestone marl. The 2012 Le Clos offers wonderful aromas of exotic tropical fruits, lemon, honeysuckle and flinty minerals. It possesses a lovely oily texture with a beautiful touch of acidity that follows through onto the clean, bright finish. Overall, the Le Clos is a lovely showing that should continue to evolve over the next few years. (Best 2015-2021) - July, 2015 (JD)
