The 2015 Château Hautes Versannes begins with aromas of dark cherries, plums, earth spices and tobacco nuances all develop in the glass. On the palate this is medium-plus bodied, with a gorgeous texture and wonderful balance. Flavors of fresh dark and red fruits continue to expand from its core and burst on the finish. This has a wonderful freshness that makes it inviting in its youth, however it could also hold up nicely in the cellar for possibly a decade.
