The 2019 Chateau Cannon is fantastic. It opens to a wonderful aromatic profile of sweet dark cherries and ripe blackberries which are layered with spring florals, graphite, chocolate and a touch of pencil shavings all taking shape. The medium-plus body is layered and beautifully structured around fine, polished tannins which make for a gorgeous texture through the finish. Overall this is a sensational age-worthy Saint-Emilion which will have a long evolution and provide many years of pleasure.
