The 2021 La Forge de Ripeau begins with inviting aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and even a touch of cassis, which are woven together with violets, spices and hints of licorice. On the palate this is medium-bodied with nicely polished tannins and a juicy mouthful ripe fruits which bursts onto the finish. A lovely showing and excellent value which will be accessible early on.
