The second wine from Château Ausone ‘La Chapelle d'Ausone’ is another superb showing by in 2012. It possesses similar characteristics to the Grand Vin, but a bit dialed back. The aromas are very pretty, with ripe dark cherries, blackberry, tar, mineral and pretty floral. It displays a wonderful structure and balance with a long finish.
