2015 is another impressive vintage from this Château in Saint-Émilion. Displaying an impressive dark, opaque color, this instantly bursts open with aromatics of dark cherries and blackberries which come together with roasted coffee, spices, and scorched notes. This velvety, medium-plus bodied red is well balanced and possesses a core of dark fruits and profound minerality, which continues to persist through the finish. While this is already showing plenty of early appeal, expect this to settle in nicely and become even more compelling with some short-term cellaring. (Best 2018-2026) - August, 2017 (JD)
