The 1994 Léoville Las Cases showing fabulous after a quarter century. It begins with pretty aromas of dried cherries, sweet exotic spices, peppered beef, dried tobacco, leather, minerals which all come together gracefully. On the palate this is beautifully balanced with a wonderful silky, seamless mouthfeel leading to the sleek finish. While 1994 was a difficult vintage, Léoville Las Cases has proven to be an outstanding, age-worthy wine that is still shining. Composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 12%Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.

The 1994 Léoville Las Cases brings fantastic aromas of blackberries and cassis, which are followed by cedar and tobacco. It still possesses wonderful balance and elegance along with soft, well-intergrated tannins. This is still delicious after 20 years, but for readers still waiting on this, now is the time to think about consuming it.
