The 1990 Leoville Las Cases is an exceptional wine from an exceptional vintage which shows the elegance and longevity the wines from Las Cases are known for. This classic Saint-Julien opens with seductive aromas of dark cherries, leather, Asian spices along with pepper and cured meat character. It continues to impress with it's remarkable seamless texture and gorgeous overall balance. This is fully mature and in a wonderful place right now, as the tannins are still present, but have softened beautifully and are deeply integrated.
