The 2015 Badine de la Patache Pomerol is the second wine from Château La Patache. This begins with pretty aromas of cherries and red plums which come together with minerals, iron and eucalyptus underlined by hints of graphite and toast. This medium-bodied Pomerol possesses fine-grained tannins with a lovey elegant mouthfeel. Flavors of Maraschino cherries, minerals and herbs continue to persist through the finish. Readers should plan on allowing this another year or two of cellaring before it begins to show its best stuff.
