The 2015 Château la Haye Saint-Estèphe composed of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines 40-50 years old. It beings with inviting aromas of ripe red berries and currants along with florals, licorice, tobacco and earthy mineral nuances all adding further complexity. It continues to impress on the palate with is elegant structure and excellent overall balance through the long finish. This is an excellent wine from the vintage which is starting to enter its prime drinking window.
