The 2009 Ame de Musset opens with wonderful aromas of black cherry and plum woven together with spices, crushed stones and an earthy character. On the palate, this is well balanced and the tannins are nicely integrated into the velvety textured medium body. If approaching now, allow this about an hour of air contact for it to show its best. This wine is made by Pascal Delbeck, who was the former winemaker at Château Ausone. (Best 2015-2020) - July, 2015 (JD)
