The 2020 Domaine du Grand Montmirail 'Lieu Dit Mon Rêve' Gigondas is a fantastic showing. It opens with lovely aromatics of cherries and blueberries, which are accented by exotic spices, licorice, herbs and lavender nuances. On the palate this possesses a full-bodied texture, with round, polished tannins that coat the finish. This is an absolutely delicious wine that is impressive today but should drink beautifully over the course of the dext decade.
