The 2021 Ferme du Grand Montmirail Gigondas 'Le Côteau de Mon Père' is already extremely impressive, displaying a gorgeous dark purple color and aromas of blackberries, dark cherries, olive, pepper, lavendar, earth and minerals all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a lovely velvety texture, which displays excellent overall balance and concentration through the finish. Utterly captivating, this is a serious gigondas which is already showing plenty of appeal and should also continue to evolve and drink beautifully forat least a decade.
