The 2010 Chateau de Portets is showing even better than the last time I saw it and has certanily improved with an additional year in bottle. Today the wine brings layers of pure dark fruits, pain grille, exotic spices, roasted coffee and crushed stones, which cascade through the wine. It possesses a gorgeous texture and structure, ending with a lovely finish of fresh dark cherries and a toasty edge. (Best 2014-2020) - July, 2014 (JD)

July 2013: The 2010 Chateau Portets brings layers of pure black fruit, toasted oak, cranberry, bell pepper, exotic spices and ground coffee. It’s really showing well at this stage, but should be cellared for another 2-3 years. (Best 2015-2023) - July, 2013 (JD) - 90 Points
