The 2016 Château Rocher Gardat begins with a lovely mix of red cherries and plums along with spices, crushed stones and fresh spring florals aromatics which all develop beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied, with notable overall balance and a gorgeous silky texture that continues through the finish. While this is already delightful, it should continue to develop nicely over the next few years.
