The 2016 Château La Fleur Montagne Saint-Émilion begins with aromas of cherries and red plum which are woven together with charcoal, licorice and mineral nuances all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a mineral laced core leading to the clean finish. This refined, silky red is drinking lovely now and should offer a short-term drinking window.
