The 2019 Chateau Palmer is a sensational showing in this vintage. It begins to impress with inviting aromas of dark currants, florals, tobacco, charcoal shavings and hints of graphite all developing in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and beautifully structured with velvety, yet supportive tannins. It continues to impress as it displays a wonderful elegance and precision through the long expressive finish. This is a monumental wine from this estate, however it will need significant time to develop and soften, that said it certainly looks to have an extremely bright future ahead.
