The 2021 Chateau Grand Soussans opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries, cassis, spring flowers, spices, cedar and tobacco all taking shape. On the palate this possesses a medium body which is structured around fine-grained, yet firm supportive tannins. It continues to impress with its notable overall balance through the finish. This is a very nice showing in this vintage, and it should go on to offer a drinking window that spans at least a decade.
